We are calling on the support of our community to help us realize our vision of a brighter future for queer youth. Know that any donation directly contributes to uplifting 2SLGBTQI+ individuals across the globe.
We're offering users Bow original productions that will act as the foundation for the platform, accompanied by a wide variety of additional high quality, queer-focused programming, all of which will be available without a paywall, meaning our content will be completely free to users!
We believe that the only cure for homophobia is education. Beyond our programming, we have made it a priority to establish The Bow platform as a resource in the space. From parenting tips to safe sexual health education, The Bow provides accessible information that meets users on their level.
The Bow will offer a user experience unlike any you've seen. Users will be able to find a virtual community by engaging in our professionally moderated discussion forums, responding to prompts from episodes of our shows or connecting through one of our many applications like After School Special or Soulful Sundays.
The Bow exists to bring people together, both online and offline! Our unique experiences and initiatives are curated to foster connections within our community. From virtual mindfulness retreats to engaging Q&A panels, our diverse events cater to all.
The Bow prioritizes the holistic care of its users. We wholeheartedly encourage the practice of mindfulness and provide a wealth of wellness resources to support their journey. Among these offerings are guided breathing practices, exercise routines, journal prompts, mindful meditations and an extensive guide to trusted 2SLGBTQI+ organizations.
We believe that if you see yourself represented on screen, you feel respected off screen. The current content available for 2SLGBTQI+ audiences is limited, not Canadian and not inclusive. The current model for distribution of that content is either paid cable TV or an online paid subscription, both requiring a credit card. This model of distribution doesn’t allow those who are most vulnerable to access it. Youth have abandoned broadcast television and The Bow is here to provide them with the elevated content they seek. The Bow meets the needs of queer youth head-on by being 100% free and 100% accessible, so that no matter how you identify, you grow up feeling that there is a community here for you, to support you whenever you need it.
The Bow apparel features our logo in full colour against a navy backdrop. We have t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops and tote bags made from premium material for maximum comfort and style. All proceeds go towards helping make The Bow Platform a reality. With your purchase of The Bow branded apparel, you are directly contributing to a brighter future for the 2SLGBTQI+ community!
The Bow will be available without a paywall, meaning all our content will be completely free to users! Similar to CBC's "GEM" app, content will be available to watch online after premiering on television. The following six Bow original productions will act as the foundation for the platform and will be accompanied by a wide variety of additional high quality, queer-focused programming.

Did you know that only a handful of executives control over 90% of the media we consume today? To be honest, the reason we don’t see ourselves represented on screen is because we don’t see ourselves represented in those positions of power. At The Bow, we’re writing our own narrative and giving queer voices a true seat at the table!
Drag has taken the world by storm! Join us as our drag queens, Sofonda, Lucy Flawless & Miss Conception, eat, dance and sing their way through North America’s best drag brunches. From the kitchen to the main stage watch as they judge both the food and the performers, discovering never before seen talent, in their natural environment.
After decades of this underground “ballroom culture” community being hidden from the mainstream light, it’s time to showcase these marginalized individuals in their fight for inclusion and to be seen in full colour. We’ll follow these larger than life personalities as they navigate day to day life, through to the most elaborate dance competition you’ve ever seen.

After being saved from a near death altercation Joe meets Finn, a humanoid river monster previously believed only to be a thing of legends, and the two develop an unspoken connection.
In the world of Animal Place, animals are portrayed like people which means they’re going to have people-like problems too. Each episode will feature an original song performed by a member of our ensemble cast as they navigate high school questioning everything from: race, religion, social economic status, gender, sexuality to body image, it’s all on the table!
